Happy Holi

For the past few years I haven’t played holi. It is just like any other goddamn day for me. But I do love seeing others play. It’s just that I think I have become quite mature now and consider it as a childish thing. I avoid going out on the d day. And I think that it’s just not me…others living in and around ma place have also stopped playing holi.





I think it has lost its charm now. I don’t even consider it as a festival. I have nothing against the festival but it’s just that it doesn’t appeal to me much. I just don’t want to get dirty and all that. And also there is one more reason….I don’t live in a colony type of place. The place where I live consists of just 10 bungalows’ and it’s kinda isolated place. The inhabitants are also quite old….bottom line is that there’s no one of my age group here. I do sulk on this day. Earlier I used to play holi like anything. I used to get up very early on this day to get involved in all kinda stupid things. I think the craziest thing which I have done on holi is…I put colors in the water tank of my neighbors’. Gosh I still remember the situation turned ugly on dat day. But now it’s just a holiday for me. And when I see anyone playing holi I think how foolish they are…despite the fact I was one of them few years ago..Gosh how your mentality changes with time. I think low of the same thing which I used to enjoy very much…Anyways it’s a colorful festival and v Indians really look forward to it every year. Happy Holi People!!!!! Just play it safe and don’t turn it into a nasty one.

Women's Day

Yesterday women's day was celebrated all over the country. It's a great thing that country like India is celebrating it too. Officially it's a holiday in western countries though in India its not the case.The tradition sees men honouring their mothers, wives, girlfriends, colleagues, etc with flowers and small gifts. The new millennium has witnessed a significant change and attitudinal shift in both women's and society's thoughts about women's equality and emancipation. With more women in the boardroom, greater equality in legislative rights, and an increased critical mass of women's visibility as impressive role models in every aspect of life, one could think that women have gained true equality. The unfortunate fact is that women are still not paid equally to that of their male counterparts, women still are not present in equal numbers in business or politics, and globally women's education, health and the violence against them is worse than that of men.

However, great improvements have been made. We do have female astronauts and prime ministers, school girls are welcomed into university, women can work and have a family, women have real choices. And so the tone and nature of IWD has, for the past few years, moved from being a reminder about the negatives to a celebration of the positives.Annually on 8 March, thousands of events are held throughout the world to inspire women and celebrate achievements. A global web of rich and diverse local activity connects women from all around the world ranging from political rallies, business conferences, government activities and networking events through to local women's craft markets, theatric performances, fashion parades and more.

So make a difference, think globally and act locally !! Make everyday International Women's Day. Do your bit to ensure that the future for girls is bright, equal, safe and rewarding.

Brand Obsession

Don’t know what has got in me this month. I guess I spent nearly 5000 bugs on clothing in the past two weeks. Never in my life before this month had I given any attention to what I was wearing. But suddenly I have become so extravagant. I have been to every goddamn branded shop in my area. I just could not keep money with me now; the moment I get any I spend it as soon as possible. I used to think before spending a single penny and now I just don’t give a damn about it.





I wonder what I am gonna do when I will start earning. I don’t think I would save anything. I would become just like my sis who spends every single penny of her pay. Me n my sis party every Sunday and we spend like anything. Ha Ha…But it really feels nice to wear fancy clothes…. Spoiled brat indeed!!!!

Back on Tracks

Have become sane again.:)).....learnt my lesson....n certainly gonna fuck CAT next year...Hey this is overconfidence or what ....ha ha.....:))...na m just gonna work much harder. These fucking college holidays ain't getting over...getting bored at home..wen wil classes take place.....darn it!!

M Feeling Blue

oh god my head is still so heavy. It's like I drank a bottle of vodka yesterday. Still finding myself swimming in the sea of sorrow....though i felt quite better wen i went to take a walk around du yesterday. The cold breeze helped me a lot..it felt really good to be alone...but the moment I came home depression gripped me really hard. My heart never felt so heavy in past few years. God...I have not told about my result to my dad yet. But I know I have to find some way outta all this. This failure is not gonna be the final chapter of my life. I am sure my zeal to become a multi millionare is gonna take me to the right track once again.

God ...keep on fucking me like this.

I have officially hit rock bottom today.....didn't get through the entrance exam which i really wanted...don't know where I went wrong...I am so blank right now I can't tell ya...looks like I have to waste another year of mine now...it sucks studying the same thing again....God...I worked so hard.....Today I am feeling the same way which I felt wen I was not able to get through my enginnering entrance exam in d 1st attempt....I am so down and out.I am so fucked today.....I don't give a damn abt nything from now on...FUCK everything.

Happy New Year

So the New Year has finally come. I guess I am late in writing this blog. Anyways, I was excited about it and was really looking forward to it…the first few months really matters a lot to me. I hope I am able to accomplish what I want this year…..a crucial year for me indeed. And yeah I have some New Year resolutions…

To fulfill resolutions of previous years. Ha ha.

I will work so damn hard to get into a reputed B-school as this is the only thing which I require now to achieve what I always dreamt of.

Merry Christmas

In many countries of the world, the celebration of Christmas on December 25th is a high point of the year. Since about 400 AD, Christians have celebrated the birth of Jesus.



Today in the West, not many people consider the religious meaning to Christmas. It has become a busy race to spend money on presents, and get ready for the Day. Christmas Day is a time for eating and drinking too much and watching television. Well I do this too….well except the drinking part….In fact I passed the day by seeing all the Christmas cheers serials on star world….they were awesome….especially “According to Jim”.

Many people do hope for more than presents at Christmas. We want to somehow return to a time in our childhood (or some other good time in the past), when life was simpler and made more sense, before the troubles of adult life arrived. We feel sure that behind all the fun and decorations, there must somehow be a message, something more, some key to life, hope and happiness.

Colored lights decorate many town centers and shops, along with shiny decorations, and artificial snow painted on shop windows.

In streets and shops, 'Christmas trees' (real or plastic evergreen 'conifer' trees) will also be decorated with lights and Christmas ornaments. Shopping centers become busier as December approaches and often stay open till late. Shopping centre speaker systems will play Christmas 'carols' - the traditional Christmas Christian songs. Most places of work will hold a short Christmas party about a week before Christmas.



'Father Christmas' (or 'Santa Claus') has become the human face of Christmas. Pictures will be seen everywhere of the old man with long white beard, red coat, and bag of toys. Children are taught that he brings them presents the night before Christmas, and many children up to the age of 7 or 8 really believe this is true. In most countries, it is said that he lives near the North Pole, and arrives through the sky on a sledge (snow-cart) pulled by reindeer. He comes into houses down the chimney at midnight and places presents for the children in socks or bags by their beds or in front of the family Christmas tree. In shops or at children's parties, someone will dress up as Father Christmas and give small presents to children, or ask them what gifts they want for Christmas. Christmas can be a time of magic and excitement for children.

As Christmas is here….so New year can’t be far behind…whew….I can’t believe 2008 is about to come to an end.
